How come we as bronies have never made our own episode of MLP?

@eaglehooves Have you seen ponies the antholgy 2? And we have so many people with voices like the actual cast.

@shred316 I actually liked the first one better. And while we may have voices, getting them all together, plus a script, plus animation, is something few could make happen.

@eaglehooves If Hasbro can do it in, what, a couple weeks? There are hundreds of animators and story writer on RDN alone. If this was a community project, it could be done in the same time.

@shred316 There are, like, 3 animators on RDN and I'm sure none of us on here could write an episode for crap.

@thatonestocking I said community. I meant everypony. And there's no way it takes a month for 1 episode. It take Southpark 6 days, I've seen it.

@thatonestocking We would never be able to fully cooperate. I can't even imagine us in the same room not trying to kill each other.

@thatonestocking I meant everypony! Equestria Daily, YouTube, PonyChan, RDN, etc. And if RDN can accomplish charity work, we can make 20 minutes of MLP.

@shred316 Maybe... Cooperation might be an issue. There's no way a director could get the same results out of volunteers. People could always say "do it this way or I walk away", and you couldn't mandate deadlines. I do some server stuff for a friend, and there's a lot of "I don't care how bad you need it or how far I'm behind; my real job is in the way. Hire a professional or wait a week."

@shred316 yeah, we have better things to do than try and copy a show that we get enough of.

@shred316 It's a noble effort, but finding and managing a team to donate that time/effort isn't easy.
