What's with everyone's obsession with deleted notices? Normally they're deleted for a reason.

@purple Thing is, some of us use a modified RDN refresh to see which posts are deleted, and with serverside refresh that would be lost.

@nerthos Why is that such a big deal, though? It's not like we post amazing things and then delete them.

@redenchilada I've seen key parts of conversations be deleted because of a word, and I really like to store stuff. Since I don't have a perfect memory, I try to save copies of everything that I fin interesting.

@nerthos They're usually deleted for a reason though, like how I tend to always mess up at like ~20 posts per day and quickly delete them. >_>

@purple Yeah, but there are really interesting posts that were deleted. Remember the Homestuck RP with Car, TOP and me? The last posts of the original conversation were deleted from the site by Colfax, because we were breaking the RP rule, so I save a copy of TOP's posts on my mail inbox.

@mostapplethingofall I think a word filter to hide posts with mature language, which each user could turn on or off from profile options, would solve the whole language moderation problem. Set it on as default, and only those who wish to see that language would see it. Others would just see a placeholder.

@mostapplethingofall Add a disclaimer to the site. "We run a language filter, site should be browsed from a JavaScript compatible browser or at the user's discretion, staff is not responsible for adult language otherwise" because I honestly don't know why a <13 years old would have an internet-capable phone. That's just bad parenting.
