@nlghtmaremoon Have you looked at how bad StatusNet is coded? Didn't think so. xD

@purple you bring up a very good point... why are we statusnet based?????
Wednesday, 22-Aug-12 05:57:13 UTC from web-
@nlghtmaremoon Cause converting 7gb of data over to another platform wouldn't exactly turn out well. xD

@purple 7GB? BRB, downloading RDN.

@purple Just SQL it, and pull out later it will take time, but it will work well in the background

@nlghtmaremoon Problem is, different platforms use different table structures. The 7gb of data from RDN won't work anywhere else unless we parse, then convert it to another format. Plus we'd probably have to code our own site, which would take forever in itself (I've tried. xD)

@purple I have used a few database conversion utility's for grade book change overs, they usually arn't 2 bad, as once you have the structure, all the data is the same.

@purple all else fails you can CSV it :)

@nlghtmaremoon If you CSV it, the structure will still be the same. What's the point of converting it to CSVs..?
Wednesday, 22-Aug-12 06:04:40 UTC from web-
@purple (last resort) most CSV import utility's give complete flexibility as to where and how the data is placed in to a database.

@purple And RDN in a CSV file amuses me.
