things I miss about having a house
* can have a good audio system and use it without angering neighbors
* garage to do hobby stuff in-
@moonman and space in general, and a not Potato Knishes kitchen, and not having to be trapped in like sardines with a collection of askiwis who treat everybody around them like dirt.

@cyberpotato ironically in my current apartment the bathroom is bigger than my house's bathrooms.

@moonman I'd really want that garage, yeah
I'm fine with the sound in my place, I can use speakers at decent levels without bothering even my flat mate (good sound isolation)-
@shpuld I like good bass, which tends to travel through walls and floors.

@moonman @shpuld You must live at seaworld. https://mangoposter.club/attachment/1167102

@moonman yeah you're out of luck if you really like pushing it in an apartment

@moonman I'm looking to move soon, my 1 bedroom apartment is not doing it. If it weren't for the fact that I'd have to move out of reach of public transportation to get one cheap enough, I'd consider a house, for the "more space for hobbies" reason.
-
@guizzy yeah I'm lucky, my house is like 80 feet from a bus stop and within biking distance to a grocery store.
(just to clarify, I live in an apartment and I own a house out-of-state that I now rent out.)

@moonman i miss my garage more than my house due to getting away with having a car immibile and not worrying about management seeing it

@awl it's harder for people to mess with your car in a garage, too. Last year, someone went through my apartment complex and knocked out the back windows of a dozen cars.
