  1. I feel like I can't take political news very seriously, it's kind of surreal to me that Trump was elected, even a year later

    1. I didn't really pay that much attention to the predictions, but more based on his complete lack of political experience

      1. I feel like I'm in a weird duality where the more I care about politics, the less the day-to-day political news is relevant to me

    2. @taknamay
I find it quite surreal too.
Tho...more in the...wow politics are that level of grapeed, sort of way, than the "I'm surprised Trump is this stupid!" sort of way.

Cos...I mean, I dislike Trump, and he's an idiot. But I wasn't that surprised he got voted in when Clinton was the one against him. It was two evils really (you can argue yourself which one was -more- evil, but neither were great)

I find it surreal because it feels very "there's...literally no way this could have been good. Politics in America are that bananaed that neither option feels even -slightly- desirable. How the hell did they get to that point?"

      1. @katiekats Yes in retrospect I see why it happened, but it just feels like we live in the punchline to a joke
