  1. Wow 3 game companies have been hacked this month, and it's seriously grapesing me off.

    1. @extremedash Oh? I missed the latest news obviously. *Goes to check*

      1. @drewdle They don't even have a reason! Why would they hack Bethesda?! There is no reason! Same with Epic games or Codemasters I don't understand...

    2. @greydragon412 Anonymous is just a bunch a butt hurt idiots which are now getting arrested. And all these people are doing is getting emails and constantly making me change my passwords which is really annoying

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:21:30 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
      1. @extremedash While I don't agree with what they're doing, if their attacks garner them the attention they're after, it's not like they're going to stop.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:25:52 UTC from web
      2. @extremedash They're kind of difficult to ignore, though, so it's a crap situation all around. The internet has been pretty security lax for ages, so maybe this will prompt some change?

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:27:30 UTC from web
        1. @drewdle I'm just tired of constantly changing passwords and resetting accounts it's just plain annoying and hopefully but the second the Internet get secure another bunch of hackers are just going to start hacking again just to show they still can and it will a never ending cycle of annoying hacks and fixes and stuff

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:30:43 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
          1. @extremedash I totally get that. It's not very fair to people whose information gets compromised.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:33:12 UTC from web
            1. @drewdle That's why I don't get these hacks. If they are trying to hack the company for our benefit then why don't they actually do something other than steal our personal info. It doesn't make any sense.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:36:34 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    3. @greydragon412 in the past 5 days; Epic Games, Codemasters, and Bethesda. Doesn't look like their stopping anytime soon either

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:27:54 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    4. @greydragon412 *nods* So it gets out of hand. Thing about the Sony attack is that it didn't change anything. Sony is still doing what Sony does.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:30:38 UTC from web
    5. @greydragon412 Anonymous isn't going to last long now that NATO has deemed them a threat to Military intelligence and Government websites...

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:32:30 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    6. @greydragon412 If everyone stopped buying PlayStation stuff until they started listening, you'd have change in a heartbeat. Companies want money, so don't give it to them, and they'll have to start listening.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:32:33 UTC from web
    7. @greydragon412 Yeah, generally, the more antsy companies get about that kind of thing, the more customers they lose. Look at EA and the released of Spore. I have a copy of the game I bought legit in the store that I can't play because I installed it twice. That really makes me want to buy more games.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:35:54 UTC from web
    8. @greydragon412 So to use a closer example, if you limit what people can do with an object they buy (a console, say), why would they spend more time using it?

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:37:01 UTC from web
    9. @greydragon412 3 members were arrested last week and apparently they are cracking down on the rest of them. They threatened to hack Government websites. That's not smart.

    10. @greydragon412 ha ha ha xbox

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:41:43 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    11. @greydragon412 pfff xbox amazing HA HA HA HA that was truly funny

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:43:20 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    12. @greydragon412 I'll just be happy when all this nonsense is over

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:45:41 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    13. @greydragon412 the Xbox is better with security issues than the ps3. It's flaw however is pricing ant the horrible concept of applying planned expiration to a video game console.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:45:56 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    14. @greydragon412 Computers are getting the same way. If you use the OEM provided OS and software on a computer, you agree to a set of terms and conditions, just to use the physical object you just bought.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:46:23 UTC from web
      1. @drewdle Unless you power it with penguins. Linux, baby :)

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:47:12 UTC from web
    15. @greydragon412 pfff you still think consoles are good ha ha alienware beats all and by the way xbox is not better than ps3 MR RED RING OF DEATH HA HA

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:46:31 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    16. @greydragon412 Including not using it in certain ways, etc. I always wipe a new computer and put vanilla Windows on it. Takes care of that.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:46:57 UTC from web
    17. @greydragon412 "beats the Wii", HA! #

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:50:01 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    18. @greydragon412 Xbox has better security, but it honestly doesn't have any game that I really care about. I played the hell out of the Project Gotham Racing series, but that's all. I much prefer Sony's Gran Turismo series when it comes to racers. Racers being really the only type of game that interests me any longer.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:50:09 UTC from web
      1. @rnbwdashiswin What about Forza Motorsport? Those are the best racing games I've ever played.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:51:42 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
        1. @extremedash Tried a Forza game once. Honestly didn't care for it.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:53:30 UTC from web
    19. @greydragon412 my info didnt get stolen MR RED RING OF DEATH also xbox is techinolgically behind ps3 fyi so that means ps3 doesnt have to come out with a new system for 3-5 years xbox does ha

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:54:21 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    20. @greydragon412 And if you're going by system reliability, my brother has had his Xbox 360 for several years. It's gotten the RROD more than once, it overheats easily and Microsoft's crappy excuse of a repair job... didn't. Our PS3, on the other hand, still in fab condition :)

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:56:39 UTC from web
    21. @greydragon412 Also, I think the Wii is awesome. I'm still ticked at my brother for selling his.

Monday, 13-Jun-11 17:57:51 UTC from web
    22. @greydragon412 the ps3 controller is perfect. i had an xbox and it broke with the red ring of death and i got a ps3 and ive never had a console problem so that's why i prefer sony but i do agree that ps3 has its flaws just like xbox but also xbox has its strengths as well

Monday, 13-Jun-11 18:00:14 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
    23. @greydragon412 Absolutely. When I want exercise, I go outside too.

    24. @greydragon412 eeyup but we both have really good arguements about both consoles but i prefer alienware over both xbox and ps3
