  1. Does anyone know of a good statusnet desktop client that you don't have to install? I need it to be portable, something that you could put on a flash drive and it would work on multiple computers. Its not really important, just wondering if there's a client that would work that way.

      1. @redenchilada Well the problem is that they got the site blocked at my school (stupid website filter blocks based on categories, they have fanfiction blacklisted for some dumb reason) and I would rather not use a proxy, so I was thinking maybe a client could bypass it, but since it's a school computer. >.<

        1. @tekkdan Nope. Any client would still have to communicate with the site, which the filter would catch.

          1. @redenchilada Aww I was afraid of that, I had a feeling that it would, but I can be kind of stubborn about trying to get around stuff like this. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try? *Shrugs*

            1. @tekkdan If it filters at the network, you ain't getting past without a router.

              1. @redenchilada That sounds like fun (I'm not that desperate). Oh well, thanks for the support anyway, I appreciate it. :)
