  1. So, after about an hour trying to install Windows 8 Release Preview, I get this; This PC can't run Windows 8, because this CPU isn't supported. Okay, two problems with that. 1) My CPU is well within the recommended specs and 2) I have the consumer preview still installed on this very PC. All my what.

    2. @scribble Some older programs disagree with newer ones, even though they're typically more advanced. Had similar things happen to me with 90s PC games.

      1. @magicalheartcadence But this is something which, as far as I know, has barely changed. If the Consumer Preview works flawlessly, why can't I even install the Release Preview?
