@chaosmagic Well, her cutie mark might be tricky, depending on how similar I'll make it to what it looks like in the show. It's really just a darker blob with a moon in it. The eye will probably take longer, though.

@chaosmagic Thanks. ^_^ Oh, and I just finished her cutie mark. It was easy. Now I'm gonna go do the eye. @trombe Well, not really. You're right, though, she was the one trapped. But she was still Luna on the inside, so Luna was trapped too. That's how I view it anyway.

@flaxx I like to think that Luna has no memory of her time as Nightmare Moon, preserving her kindness and original personality. Hence the hasty apology, as the last thing she remembers is holding a grudge and lashing out. Why else would Celestia explain where she's been for so long if she already knew?

@madflavors Well, going by the RP, she made a deal with three Elements of Discord and then they got her transformed into Nightmare Moon. But seeing as that isn't canonically possible, it's all up to the people working on it.
