     @cavatina I did try to do that thing once, where you set up a Windows 3.1 VM and attempt to in-place upgrade all the way to the latest ver. I was inspired by that youtube video of someone doing it.

     @ceruleanspark The actual chain holds up until you hit the newest versions that just treat an upgrade as nuke and pave with different license terms.
