@modeofexistence @strypey I do find the only ideological purity in relationships I can maintain is the identity relationship... and sometimes that feels too rigorous.

@strypey oh.. it was a poor #math joke. identity is the property that a thing is equal to itself. However it's quite a strong property, and often weakened, when one needs to discuss equality.
The point I was trying to make was that people change. Even oneself.-
@boneidol Ah! (maths dunce here). Indeed, the idea that there is a consistent "self" is intuitive but hard to rationally justify
