Going to have get my nerd on here. The upcoming Star Trek has a title, which is Star Trek Into Darkness, which may hold clues who the antagonist is. Could be Gary Mitchell, whom got god like powers and abused them, thus going into darkness. Could be Trillian, though they really need to make him dark compared what his character was like on the show. Or, Matt Decker. Commodore of the USS Constellation. Also partially responsible for his crews deaths. Have him lose his crew, not to a large machine from another galaxy, but from the Nirada's assault on Vulcan. Now he is bent on trying to repent for being responsible for sending more 400 people to their deaths.

@doates man, i've never watched star trek
-
@mushi You don't have to have experience watching the show to watch the 2009 Star Trek film. Hence why is labeled a reboot.
-
@doates Strafleet is attacked by Shatner's toupée.
-
@doates good, maybe i watch that someday
-
@doates Wasn't that actually more of a "alternate universe" then a reboot?
-
@colfax Or his ego
-
@firestormdangerdash The film is reboot, but in-movie continuity, yes it is an alternate universe.
-
@doates That would be the same toupée.
-
@colfax Then Starfleet is in trouble.
-
@doates The Shatner Turbo 2000 deserves it's own screen credits.
-
@colfax Not to mention Venessa
