@moonman i've put thought into this and i think it goes a bit too far into the morals of it. the vast majority of pets we keep would die in the wild, and livestock would of course not exist because they've basically been bred to be breathing sacks of meat. as long as the animals are bred by a solid group such as the government or a union of individuals that can guarantee no shady business, keeping them alive through pet ownership is fine. plus then we can own pigs and cows n shiet and that'll be cool

@delores Why not just feed grain to mice and other such rapidly breeding animals so that cats can hunt them if you want to be crazy about it?

@delores Potato Knishes mice. They exist so that better species get annoyed at them and make them into food or splats.
