Tonight I took 4 whole quail, washed them off, then marinated them for 4 hours in a cracked black pepper & red wine marinade. I then seared them in a cast iron skillet for about 3 minutes on each side before baking them cast iron & all in a 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes. I served them with baby peas, wild rice & pasta. http://ur1.ca/4h8mb
