What is the best program for synthesizing drums? I need a good drum simulating program that uses real samples.

@abigpony Why not just make all your samples in Audacity from scratch?

@cskyes Is that a thing? I just use Audacity for mixing. I didn't realize I could make tracks in it. I bet it doesn't sound good, though.

@abigpony There's obviously no quantization or beat matching. I use Cubase for tracks and most audio editing, but I've made decent-sounding clap and kick sounds with Audacity before that don't sound like they're being played back through a metal can.

@cskyes Well kick and clap sounds I can make myself. it's everything else.
