  1. I suppose Sollux isn't the only dead-dead person to have left a dreambubble. Strictly speaking, Vriska and Tavros left theirs once.

    1. @ceruleanspark I assume Aradia did too at some point prior to Hivebent.

      1. @toksyuryel Pre-game deaths don't seem to work the same way, so possibly not.

        1. @bitshift @toksyuryel Sollux talks about hearing the voices of the dead, so it's entirely possible that, in alternia at least, there's a real, physical afterlife.

        2. @bitshift How so? All the pre-game deaths I can recall right now seemed to follow the same rules.

          1. @toksyuryel I think that if the world has yet to even start its session, the dreamself mechanics don't kick in. Otherwise she would already have used up her dreamself once the wounds spread to it.

            1. @bitshift Oh, so we're talking pre-session then. I dunno then. It's clear that Prospit and Derse exist before the session does, along with the dream selves that reside there, so the whole thing is just really confusing when you try to dig into it.

      2. @toksyuryel Wasn't she like...the conciousness of a dead Aradiabot sent back through the reckoning?

        1. @ceruleanspark @toksyuryel The dead Aradiabot visited her. She was, for all intents and purposes, just a ghost.

        2. @ceruleanspark That's just the kind of time ****ery I'd expect from this story, so you may be right. I'll have to pay more attention to that part when I get to it again on my reread.
