@minti wat
-
@omni You know it's cool. :p
-
@minti I think it looks dangerous as hell and, yet again, I wonder what is wrong with Microsoft developers.
-
@omni It has nothing to do with microsoft. I can do it in GIMP too.
-
@omni I'm not sure "running a bitmap through a C compiler and then running the output executable" is a vulnerability vector microsoft is all that concerned about.
-
@minti I don't understand computers anymore... Are you seriously telling me those hexadecimal numbers used a colouring codes literally produce software? Brb, making abstract art and scanning it, I'm going to make awesome 3D games.
-
@ceruleanspark >vulnerability vector >vector >You troll :(
-
@omni Bitmaps are raw color values, they're stored in the file as rgb triplets for each byte. So if you use very specific colours you can put almost anything into a bitmap.
-
@omni It would probably work better going to other way. I'm going to see what happens renaming .txt files to .bmp.
-
@eaglehooves It won't work without the proper header xD
-
@omni http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_number makes use of much the same concept.
-
@ceruleanspark Oh, I remember that
-
@omni There's plenty of "music" with images hidden in the waveforms. Also plenty of "Music" composed by running images through synthesiser software.
-
@ceruleanspark I used to import random .swf files as raw data in Audacity, but it actually doesn't create such great results :(
-
@ceruleanspark Cats o,o
-
@omni It's from the Venetian Snares album "Songs about my cats".
