I mean, mens rights as a concept is pretty ridiculous, but I wouldn't have thought saying "Oh, he's a mens rights activist" could undermine a persons opinion on graphics cards.
-
@ceruleanspark Well that's typical of an ad hominem, they're never able to undermine a person's opinion they're only designed to sound like they can in the hopes that others will just agree that it does.

@toksyuryel I suspect you probably don't need 3 guesses as to where I've seen this happening.

@ceruleanspark The only place I can think of is Tumblr.

@toksyuryel Actually Reddit. I frequent a lot of the weird meta-reddits that exist solely to complain about the behaviours of people on other parts of the site.
-
@ceruleanspark I try to avoid Reddit as much as physically possible. I guess I'll have to remember that in case the question arises again.

@ceruleanspark I'd say probably tumblr, or failing that reddit. (The latter has surprisingly many social justice types, but the voting mechanism serves to quite effectively diminish their effective volume. On the former, they're both prevalent and very loud.)
-
@bitshift It was reddit. It's mostly SRS users who throw the term "MRA" around, and one of the boards I frequent, Circlebroke, has a lot of overlap with SRS.
