@abigpony I would love to create an article for the Rainbow Dash Network in the http://en.wikipedia.org, and I look forward to the challenge. It should take only a few days, but I can get something up in a few hours if anypony thinks that that may help (with fundraising or whatever). So far, I have only made minor modifications to wikia, and I have only been a member of the Rainbow Dash Network for a short time, but it is a wonderful and exciting challenge. After I get started collecting materials, I will post here before I publicize there. If anyone has any suggestions, tagging me in a post seems to be almost as good as calling my cell. (I almost like ponies enough to hand out my pay-as-you-go number to the whole list). Sincerely, @fnordly

Neither Ponibooru nor Rainbowdash are articles in the http://en.wikipedia.org, yet. With my new-found enthusiasm for everything in general (I need an avatar featuring Pinkie Pie and...) maybe I should spam such sites with ponylove?

@abigpony "Rainbow Dash" is likely there, but "Rainbowdash" should redirect to an article about http://rainbowdash.net, which I was looking for when I realized that the article about "Rainbowdash" did not (at the time of that post) exist.

@starshine Frankly my dear Starshine, I don't give a darn if they were to delete it. I will only elaborate and repost and make it more violently cutesy as I go.

@fnordly Please don't make people hate bronies. That's the last thing we need. :( You might want to skim through the list of reasons for deleting an article so you know what sort of things to avoid before writing it. Number one thing is you really need good sources, like newspapers, magazines, TV news coverage, etc. that *directly* addresses the specific content of the article.

@communistprime I think that http://mlp.wikia.com may be the place to collaborate and research the pony take-over of http://en.wikipedia.org. There is nothing to it but to do it. There is also a really nice http://simple.wikipedia.org which really needs our help. Any thing that has @fnordly in it (Does it need to be at the beginning of the message?) will be incorporated as I find the time. As frankly my dear Starshine pointed out, there is a war raging out there and pony-related stuff may be being attacked more than others. We shall see. Either way, have fun. It will not cause anyone any problems if, for example, you and I were to be working separately on the same article, either. If one of us were to get ours deleted for some BS reason, the other one could post "without knowledge" of the BS excuses for the other being deleted. Anyway, you already helped by showing your support and by posting 1430 or more times.

@starshine That is a good point, and I promise to be careful. Rather than rushing in to get a place-holder page up and hurrying to get more traffic here for a fun-fund-drive of sorts, I will be cautious and get lots of feedback before I make the article public.

@fnordly It might be a good idea to start by making a paragraph or three about fan sites under the "Internet reception" header of the main FiM article, and then maybe suggest splitting that off into a separate page.

@starshine On wikipedia? Don't even try. We need to be in a Reliable source (newspaper, TV) and not in a blog site. type WP:RS into wikipedia's search-bar for information. Also, WP:N.

@starshine Also true. I quit editing at Wikipedia a long time ago. Too many people think they control everything and will revert even the smallest edit if they don't like it.
