            @omni Heh, I don't think I've ever met a native and/or fluent German speaker who actually likes Rammstein. As someone who doesn't really grasp the language well enough to understand it in real time, I can enjoy the sound of the language, but I can certainly see how the lyrics are simplistic enough to not be appealing if you can understand them that well.

              @bitshift Rammstein was only appealing to me before I could understand it well too. Now I can understand it, I can clearly see how filled with bad innuendos their lyrics are which, as you can probably understand with my constant complaining about it, bothers me a lot.

              @bitshift Most JPOP is like this too. If you actually look up what the lyrics are, most of it's really terrible. But if you can't understand them it's pretty great to listen to ☺

            @omni Alright. I slightly understand it, but not enough. I know the Mein Herz Brennt German lyrics pretty good. It's really the only German band I listen to.
