@nvrrmbr @ramieldash @carcinopony Thanks, all. Glad to be back, though now I'm trudging through all the messes that happened while I was away, and trying to clean them up. Frustrating! Still a little down -- and this isn't helping -- but picking up my mood as best I can. Probably will watch some ponies tonight. And catch up on the latest @princessluna art. That should help. :)

@carcinopony Ohhh, a long, involved story involving someone I wouldn't mind "accidentally" banishing to the nonspace between dimensions with a good Ripple spell, or having the ability to fire, before he causes any serious damage with his negligence and look-like-he's-doing-just-enough-to-keep-getting-a-paycheck attitude that I won't be able to make right again. Sadly, it looks like neither will be happening. That's the way it goes sometimes, in the magical world of business and politics, hm? I will overcome, though. And find a way to win. In the end, in battles worth fighting, I almost always do. ;)

@carcinopony It wouldn't surprise me. :) As for cats, yes, mine is a bundle of lovey fluffy hugs one minute, shredding claws and teeth the next. I wonder if they make lamotrigine for cats yet . . .

@carcinopony He really isn't. Especially when he's like he is right now, snuggled against my shoulder, snoring and passed out. Makes me glad that I rescued him. Almost makes me forget how he started waking me every 45 minutes this morning from 3:00 on by hugging my face with his whole body, then kneading my face and throat with claws fully extended. He loves me to death, it seems.

@carcinopony Awww! I've just always had a way with animals, I think. Some have taken longer than others, depending upon what sort of life they had before coming to me, but they all seem to grow more affectionate around me over time.

@astra one of my cats runs over to you, and immediately sits down on you and starts purring, and my other cat will not stay in the same place for more than 5 seconds, except for when she's sleeping

@1greg1 Yikes! Someone needs to cut back on that second cat'scaffeine! As for the first, that sounds sort of like mine, who greets me at the door by running up, then flopping down to roll over for tummy rubs. :)

@nvrrmbr Yes, and it helped me here again tonight. Though her sad Rarity picture made me pout a lot. Also watched "Boast Busters", "Party of One" and "The Best Night Ever". That helped, too. :) Anyway, hope you're doing well!
