      1. @toksyuryel That is literally the worst fork of XChat ever made. I got hit by an exploit that froze it and only it whenever I connected to CanterNet.

        1. @redenchilada I just asked what that was on SBN AND YOU NEVER ANSWERED so I'm going with the one BITSHIFT MENTIONED INSTEAD.

          1. @minti It's the same one anyway, Red's just too lazy to switch to a version that doesn't predate the name change. :p

            1. @bitshift Red being too lazy to perform a software update? Can't say I ever saw that coming.

              1. @toksyuryel would now be a bad time to mention that I still use Winamp

                  1. @bitshift No f u. It integrates with my XChat-WDK.

                2. @redenchilada I wouldn't know. Like I said I haven't used windows since 2004. Winamp was still a big deal back then.

        2. @redenchilada I hate x-chat anyway. That's the only one I'm aware of from back when I still used windows, which was like 2004 or something.

          1. @toksyuryel Why? It's probably the best Windows IRC client I've ever used.

            1. @redenchilada Key word there being "Windows". There's a whole host that have only ever been available for Unix-like OS families, some of which are incredibly good.

              1. @bitshift Yeah, but we're talking about Windows clients!

      2. @toksyuryel Fork, that's just a port. :p

      3. @toksyuryel ...Which is what made me switch to XChat-WDK, which is much better functionally.

        1. @redenchilada Except nobody should newly switch to that exact one now, since it renamed to HexChat and thus the updated versions are there.
