SO I just found a song, and it's pretty good. And the in the youtube Sidebar, there's a pony version of it. My only real question here is why.

@anarchycarcino Neither of those are mainstream anymore. Dubstep a little, but it's faded out a bit since it's peak there.

@anarchycarcino Because it's decent ambient music and drops work well for action scenes. Either way, that's like saying "video games have indie music in them. It's so mainstream."

@abigpony No, and no. Dubstep is the degradation of music as a whole. I WILL fight you on this. And it's not like it's only been in 1 single movie, it's everywhere.

@anarchycarcino It's in alot of action movie trailers and stuff which, let's admit, are mostly crap nowadays in and of themselves. The point of all this is that just because it's in a movie doesn't mean it's "popular music"

@abigpony The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo had an IDM soundtrack. It's not a popular genre, though (even though I like it).
