@anarchycarcino Nah. Mass Effect controls differently, Spess mahrine controls differently enough for me to easily get used to it.

@abigpony Mass effect and Gears of War control the same, dude, actually the similarities increase as we get deeper into the series.

@anarchycarcino I haven't played ME outside of 1 and haven't played Gears 3 so i don't know what you're talking about. They control mad differently.

@anarchycarcino I've played a few FPS's with weird controls, but they're pretty simplistic, so there's no reason not to have them work like so.

@abigpony No seriously, the would be the same if the camera was fixed behind the Marine in Warhammer. That's the only difference here.

@anarchycarcino It is fixed behind the Marine. GoW and Spess Mahrine have the same camera and similar controls, but they are different enough for me to stand.

@anarchycarcino Nah. I hate CoD because they release the same thing every year and they get gold stars across the board for it. I hate GoW mostly for the controls and stiff gameplay (the reason I would never buy spess mahrine) and giant walking veiny chodes with guns. I enjoy halo, but Halo 4 is an unneccesary game made pretty much by fans after the series was announced over and centering around the grapesty kiwiing forerunners.

@abigpony Incorrect, call of duty gets released every 2 years. There's a cheap knock-off game between those years riding on the coat tails. Be mad at those.

@anarchycarcino No, there isn't. Ever since 4, they've released the same trash every year and people keep encouraging them to do it. It's not every other game, it's EVERY GAME

@abigpony Call of Duty. Call of duty 2, Call of duty 3 <Knock off>, Call of duty 4, World at war <Knockoff>, Modern warfare 2, Black ops <Knock off>, Modern warfare 3, Black ops 2 <Knock off>. It should be noted that every knock off just re-skins the engine of the last game (Sans 3) and the engine hasn't changed since Modern warfare 2. This isn't uncommon, Gears of war has done it, Elderscrolls have done it, Fall out has done it, Mass effect has done it.

@anarchycarcino even though i never played it much, or finished it, in face the only games out of my 202 games in my steam library i have finished are Portal 1 and 2, and Alan wake american nightmare...

@anarchycarcino have Gears, mass Effect, and Elder Scrolls done it? I haven't played any Elder Scrolls outside of Oblivian and Skyrim. I prefer to think of Fallout as Add-ons more than anything.

@abigpony Gears 2 and 3 are on the same engine, probably 1 too. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are. Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas are all on the same engine.

@abigpony This generations tech is pretty much maxed, so you'll be seeing it very often. Wait for the inevitable console upgrades for a new engine.

@abigpony It's not about graphics with that, but mostly about why they all play exactly the same. Persona 3 and 4 same engine.
