@omni Why do Linux users obsess over their startup times? I mean, you're not likely to restart your computer every three minutes, right? ...right?

@gladosenchilada I'm only upset because my system seems to be working worse than the system of others. The only thing I'm really, really upset about is that I managed to get my system to fail to shutdown most of the time. I suck with computers :(

@omni Well, you're likely to find computers that work better than yours unless you invest in state of the art technology once a year, and devote to enhancing your system constantly.

@gladosenchilada The vast majority of Linux users don't care either, otherwise Ubuntu wouldn't be the most popular distribution as it's one of the slowest :x

@gladosenchilada Because we don't have other system issues to complain about. But on a more serious note, most Linux users are pretty quiet about it all. As always, you only hear those who care because the others simply don't mention it.
