@broniebrown iwas thinking of getting it but is it pretty good or another horrible gameloft game?

@broniebrown Yeah, I saw a screencap of someones iOS lock screen literally filled with "X Pony is ready to play" notifications.

@ceruleanspark @electroidfire It is okay for a casual game. But I consider deleting it because of the notification bombarding. Dumb texts like "BROADCAST info", "BROADCAST launch", and "BROADCAST url".

@broniebrown Depending on which version of Android you run, you may or may not be able to completely disable notifications for the app. (Assuming you run Android, I have no clue, actually, and I don't know what it's like on iOS)

@omni @broniebrown on Stock android, it's a feature in Jelly Bean (4.1) and forward.

@omni iOS has had the ability to surpress notifications on a per app basis since iOS 5. Also, if an app wants to send you notifications, it has to ask your permission on first launch.

@electroidfire If you're running iOS, you can just disable notifications for the game.

@electroidfire It is a nice game. They used Tara Strong's and Cathy Weseluck's voices. It runs smoothly on my HTC Desire Z. Only some texts are harder to read because of the small screen my phone has. Only the notifications are extremely annoying because they appear immediately after I remove them. I hope they fix it with an update soon.

@electroidfire It is free. Otherwise I would have been ranting harder here ;) You can buy gems in-game in order to skip building time.

@electroidfire Sort of. You can visit other people's villages and leave gifts, hearts (similar to gems) and treasure chests.

@electroidfire As far as I could see it is a single-player game, which I always prefer. Just imagine a sim-city-like game with minigames.

@electroidfire You can disable the "Pony is ready to play" notification but the "broadcast notifications" are the real annoyance.

@electroidfire In my opinion a good game doesn't have to be violent. The mechanics and story are always more important.
