Rainbow Dash costs 400 gems to buy in the !gameloft game. You get 2 gems per day if you log on every day without missing any days, plus there are promotional offers that let you get free gems for installing (then uninstalling) advertised apps. I got over 80 gems in one day with a bit of effort through the promotions so I guess it's not impossible to reach the required amount for free but still.. :P

@widget Mine seem to be very animated. At one point, Snips, Twilight, the Cakes and Octavia had a dance party.

@fortecadenza I suspect it's a glitch with the Android version, but you say yours move? Mine only stand still and if they're close enough the interact. I can tap them and they do things, but otherwise they don't actually move around the map like in that video. Are you using Android?

@fortecadenza mine are animated, but they never move around the screen.

@pony I'm running the game on iPad. I should download it for my Android and see for myself.

@fortecadenza myeh.. yours is the original version and has fewer bugs.. Android version can't even add GL Live friends yet.

@pony But yeah, ponies will walk around and talk to different people. Pegasi will even fly around.

@widget yeah.. there were tons of ponies asking when the adroid version would come out so I think they rushed it a bit.

@pony Based on my knowledge of the word retcon, I'll guess that it means porting but changing certain things in order to get it ready to go. Could be completely wrong.

@fortecadenza sounds like retoken in my head.. which somehow makes sense to me.

@pony In comics/TV, it means to go back and change something. For example, the ending of Portal 1 was retconned so that Chell is dragged back into Aperture.

@fortecadenza hey do Parasprites move around the map in the iOS version? I mean do they do anything but fly around in the same little area?

@pony No, their purpose is to stay in one spot and block you fron building there.
