@madflavors I haven't more than glanced at Nyan cat, yet, but I think that it is unfair to compare amateur-made memes to professional quality made-for-TV ponies. Ponies are not a meme, I mean.

@madflavors (Though you are probably in the shower, this may be applicable to anypony.) It is not fair to compare FIM to subcultures, either. It is bigger than that. Maybe spammers. Like it or not, spamming is really popular, and Bronies have been using the power of spam to spread joy and love and causing people to reconsider inherent distrust of things due only to questionable origins.
