I like how, even though Windows 8 is widely regarded to be "not-so-good" by more or less everyone, any reviewer who criticises it is a Mac using moron who doesn't understand how to computer. It's like they've passed the fanboy event horizon and are now irrevocably commited to defending bad products regardless

@ceruleanspark I need a proper play with windows 8, my experience with it was 20 seconds long in a Comet store. I want to be optimistic about it at least.

@purplephish20 It...doesn't really get any better actually. The OS is very "shallow". What you can experience in 10 minutes is much the same as using it for 10 hours. There's nothing below the surface. You poke an icon, you get a full screen app. You poke another icon, the app disappears and its state becomes totally ambiguous. Is it minimised, like windows, or gone, like iOS. Here's a fun time though. Try to open two apps side by side sometime.

@ceruleanspark most every review I see puts it at an equal with Windows 7 in performance but with a different look.
