@anarchycarcino when I was in middle school I tried to join a junior 40k league at a local gaming store since no one signed up for junior warhammer fantasy league (it's America and kids like guns in space, and this was BEFORE Halo poisoned the land even). So I join this league because I wanna be a part of something. Everyone signing up chooses their chapter and lists it next to their name on the signup sheet. 15-20 kids, all but one write in Space Marines. The other wrote in chaos space marines. I was going to pick Imperial Guard, but then there was a problem with the misleading joining price for the league so I dropped out. Overall it was a good decision because now I know it was a good decision to not be puny 'umans, though if I had to play 'umans I would go Space Wolves or Black Templar granted they get a new codex

@crusader8 The only real merit of choosing Space Mariens is the colors. I loooooves all the colors. If I were to just buy a single squad for the Hell of it it would be a Space Marien squad for sure. If I wanted to play I would lean to the Necrons or Tyranids, since those are a heck of a lot more interesting. Why would you ever pick puny Guards?

@anarchycarcino Because a warrior can win a battle but only a true leader and statesman can win a war. The infantry that forms the bulk of the Imperium's defense forces are pretty cool, both Cadian and Catachan.

@anarchycarcino What is so bad? All I know is that they keep you on a tight leash, drop you if you don't get a certain amount of views, and are inconsistant with pay.

@abigpony Like right, okay, so remember how we talked about how Arby and the Chief ended and then Machinima was like "NOPE." You really have to play ball with them, I remember reading a lot about it in middle school but I'll be damned if I don't remember a word of it. All I know is it was bad. Can't even upload videos at your leisure.

@anarchycarcino Well I wouldn't expect you to. I know you have to sign contracts for so many seasons/episodes and regulate content. I also believe it's scripted, but hey, pretty much everything is in terms of entertainment. The deal with Arby and the chief was that the original guy who made them dropped out because they were "bullying him" if I recall but he had signed a contract.
