      @redenchilada Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Didn't see the question until now. I initially introduced the tag to Derpibooru in response to edits which existed only to remove genitalia to make safe version of pics that were otherwise explicit. I have a preference for those kinds of edits, and wanted an easier way to find them. In addition, I actually just plain happen to like featureless crotches, and it's a relatively common status for cartoon characters like those in FiM. So I was pleased to see it spread beyond just me using the tag. (It also happens to be useful for identifying pictures that border on 'Presenting' territory, but there's nothing to really be presented. Except, I guess, the character's flanks and relatively smooth, clean, toylike body.) ... But also because search didn't turn up a "smooth crotch" tag.
