    I finally finished grinding that Hermitaur quest for Monster Bone+ so I can make a new hammer :D But something tells me no matter how much I upgrade my equipment, I'll never be ready for Tigrex ;_; !huntingponies

      @autumn Hi, I know this is late but there are 2 nice tricks to beating Tigrex. Use the Greatsword sniping method (look up a vid on it, it's hard to get right without any Tigrex hunting experience though) or a nice safer way: Get an armour set with Guard +1 (Hermitaur works nice) and make a decent Gunlance then just tank/poke him to death! !huntingponies

        @ignaesia This is the world's latest reply. I keep forgetting about RBDN! But I just ran in with my eyes closed and kept swinging away with my Hammer and somehow it died. Hooray!

          @autumn Nice work! Tigrex is the first "wall" most hunters get stuck on. If you work out a decent strategy to killing him (the ones I suggested are nice) then it's worth farming his armour set because it has some very useful skills on it. Just don't bother with any Tigrex weapons, they all suck
