    1. @omni You're just mad because your Linux can't BSOD.

      1. @nerthos I'm mad for not having a kernel panic screensaver for Linux. Then again, the only way you really notice is because your caps lock and scroll lock keys will blink furiously.

        1. @omni You can probably configure your computer to do that somehow. Then again, can your Linux do THIS? http://ur1.ca/c0zuc

          1. @nerthos I've legitly had that happen to me.

            1. @minti I used to love doing it when I still used 98SE. It was the best. Also, hi.

                      1. @nerthos Yeah basically. Lost the will to even talk to people, it's still not exactly there but my birthday has made me happy enough to talk to people other than my closest friends I guess? /shrug

                        1. @minti Oh well. I'll keep trying to socialize with you now and then, only to be ignored like the last couple times xD You'll get over it with time.

                          1. @nerthos Yeah sorry about that. xD I'm usually either afk, DnD, busy playing games, or don't want to talk to people. I feel really bad about it and it's not exactly helping my mood either. xD

                            1. @minti No problem man. I figured all that stuff a while back when you dissappeared. I try now and then out of courtesy and to avoid completely losing contact. What are you playing?

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:19:22 UTC from web
                              1. @nerthos GW2, FTL, Terraria, other random stuff as it comes up.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:20:09 UTC from web
                                1. @minti Is GW2 any good?

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:20:42 UTC from web
                                  1. @nerthos Better than most online games I've played. Probably wouldn't be very good compared to the single player games you're use to playing though.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:21:24 UTC from web
                                    1. @minti I've been looking for a good multiplayer game for a while. If it has a somewhat good community, I'll try it. Haven't played an online RPG for like, two years (Except Realm of the Mad God), because the communities dumbed down to the point of being insufferable. Maybe we can play some time.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:23:45 UTC from web
                                      1. @nerthos GW2 has a decent community. The game promotes working together with random people and I've seen that seriously affect the community in a positive light so. xD

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:24:52 UTC from web
                                        1. @minti I'll try it then. I'll Skype you whenever I get into it xD

                                          1. @nerthos Alright xD

                                            1. @minti I've been playing mostly Fallout and Dishonored the last month, but I'm already getting somewhat tired of so much FPS.

    2. @omni ways to mess with your friends! take the blue screen screen saver, put it on your friends computer and lock it up!

    3. @widget Better start believing.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:07:38 UTC from web
    4. @widget I tried to load a new kernel over another one using the Magic SysRq Key combinations without having kexec even installed. Needless to say, SysRq+REISUB completely and utterly froze my system.

    5. @xrevan86 KDE4 is better than GNOME3 is practically every single way except the way it looks. However, I decided I like staring at nice-looking things so... yeah.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:17:52 UTC from web
    6. @xrevan86 But not GNOME3-fancy! :(

      1. @minti KDE is like... Windows 7 with a zillion more configuration options. It's pretty great for power users.

    8. @xrevan86 But notification system! And overview!

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:21:17 UTC from web
    9. @xrevan86 I'm pretty sure that's the GNOME2 notification system, I want the GNOME3 one.

Thursday, 13-Dec-12 18:24:02 UTC from web
    10. @xrevan86 For me, when it comes to notification deamons: GNOME3 > KDE4 > Everything else.
