    2. @rotation Not to the knockout rounds yet, sorry. USA is in group C and tied now with Sweden with 6 'points' (You get 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, & 0 for a loss). So there's 2 more games before the knockout rounds start. Right now, if USA beats Sweden on the 6th, they win the group. Likewise, France & Germany are tied in Group A. Whichever team wins THAT game wins Group A.

    3. @rotation Groub B & D are more complicated... Japan will win group B if they do not lose to England on the 5th. BUT, England will advance if they do not lose to Japan or Mexico do not defeat New Zealand -or- the combined margin of their loss and Mexico's win is fewer than 5 goals (exactly 5 if Mexico doesn't score at least 2 more than England). Finally, Mexico will advance if they defeat New Zealand and Japan defeat England and the combined margin is at least 6 goals (5 if they score at least 3 more than England).
