@fluttershy48 that sucks. Sometimes my parents can be overprotective but never that. My cousins parents are like that though, I couldn't live with that personally

@renovatedkitchen crazy my mom reads books about kids who never accepted into there family because there gay different or something else but my mom every time she hears me say something like a derpy reference or something she yells and calls me gay :(

@fluttershy48 I'm sorry to hear. I could never live in a family like that personally. I cave in to most people, but the more "attacking" someone is, the more defensive I become until I take the offensive. Usually ends horribly though

@renovatedkitchen i do that offensive thing when things get out of hand but when i hear my mom call me gay i shut up get out my chair go outside and start just kicking wood in half punch a hole in the side of a abandoned house then when i come back in i lock my self in my room and do whatever it was that i was doing

@fluttershy48 why not say something like "even if I /was/ gay, if you didn't love me still, you are a failure of a mother" and then maybe poke around at how no one actually likes her, her friends talk behind her back. That kind of stuff. Some people just need to know that they aren't perfect either

@renovatedkitchen friends in this faamily never work my brother lost all of his my dad his friends are all on facebook and he doesn't even know them in real life i lost all my friends because my mom put me in home school without me saying i wanted to be i was thinking about but then she put me in and lost all my friends in short notice i couldn't even say goodbye to them and she puts me in everything with out me knowing and that gets under my skin

@fluttershy48 that's getting pushed too far. Parents are supposed to support your best interests. Not do what they do. Like I say, I would make sure your mother knows she is not perfect. Sure she gave birth to you, but if she can't go through raising you properly, she is unworthy of having any children (that's my overall opinion, not trying to be rude to just your mother)

@renovatedkitchen oh no problem being rude to my mother i kinda somewhat dont care i take enough crap from both of my parents the only one i can rely on is my brother he insults me but not to much and you tell he was joking but when my dad does it he goes to far and my mom dosent do it but when they do insult me she laughs and plays along that really ticks me off but they are all the same total jerks you know the saying (do good things good things happen) ya thats a lie i was the good guy i got bullied for 7 years my parents bully me call me gay and they throw me in stupid events and stuff and they dont even take to them they are self centered

@fluttershy48 the kind and friendly will always be taken advantage of. My brother used to insult me a lot. Would usually end in fights, which usually ended in me pulling a kitchen knife out. I couldn't harm someone who isn't a threat, but when someone angry pulls a knife out, that usually hushes anyone

@renovatedkitchen wish that would work but my dad his a 220 pound constuction worker with a nail gun and my brother was in kung fu classes for about 9 years and hes a black belt so they already know i cant win they attack me

@fluttershy48 I'm not saying this is a good idea, for the record. But it doesn't matter how big someone is or how much they fight, an angry person waving a knife around is always intimidating

@renovatedkitchen ever been shot by a nail gun? trust me it hurts yesterday they shot me with a staple gun and dang that thing hurts like heck and they called me a wimp for say it hurts they shot me in the calf and it was hurting for the next hour and they tried shooting me 4 more times but i ran like forest gump they dont care what they do they just do it

@redenchilada na there not abusive there just like that they try making me a man but still first time i was shot by a staple gun and ya it hurts like heck but i lived was not 2 bad i didn't bleed so i was fine but it was brother who shot me and hes not my parent so child protective service probobly not do anything

@fluttershy48 they won't break apart your family. They will try to see what the problem is. Maybe your parents or brother felt neglected and are taking it off on you. They help family's get along with each other

@renovatedkitchen we do get along in a different way and trust me i dont like the different way but after like a few weeks you get used to it but still we dont have time for counseling were in a tight spot here if it was not for my brother i would be homeless right now so we kinda need them for multiple reasons we were 2 weeks from loosing our house my bro saved me i cant really do much but sit there and watch but still i love them and they love me i have not to huge of a problem with that
