I want to become a pilot, but I just got sweaty palms from looking down some heights in a video game :(
-
@renovatedkitchen Video games, the ultimate dream crushers.
-
@renovatedkitchen So fear of heights then? Don't worry you can actually get over that!
-
@nerthos lol. Played the last level of metro 2033 again. It's not so much a fear of heights as its a fear of heights with unstable conditions, as well as smaller heights
-
@celestiaforequestria its only short heights. But how do you? I've been forcing myself to go to uncomfortable heights and go to the edge. After seeing its okay I'm better but it doesn't last forever
-
@renovatedkitchen You're doing exactly the right thing. It took me about 3 years of climbing on crazy structures to get over my thing. It does come back, but then one day it doesn't! It's a weird transitional thing I don't know.
-
@celestiaforequestria uh. I will keep trying then. Sometimes I still lock up. I'll me like 2 meters off of the ground and I freeze up. If I'm really high up then I'm okay. I guess if I fall from super high I'll just die xD were as short heights, I'll just go into pain
-
@renovatedkitchen Well when you're a pilot won't you mostly deal with really high heights anyways? Just a thought. Good luck man!
-
@celestiaforequestria yeah. Being in a plane I'm perfectly okay. It's just when the surface I'm standing on is sketchy, it's windy and stuff, I lock up.
-
@renovatedkitchen You'll find a way to get over that! Everybody has a way.
-
@celestiaforequestria I hope so :p
