@unhipdruid Oh f***.
-
@unhipdruid ?
-
@unhipdruid Why did you update the BIOS though?
-
@nerthos increases system stability.
-
@unhipdruid Known issues for the old version, or no reason?
-
@nerthos turns out one drive was disconnected when i did some maininance. i need to figure where the break is. i love Intel RST
-
@unhipdruid Haha, Intel.
-
@nerthos i was running a pre release BIOS, it was version 607 and the boards RELEASE BIOS was 815....
-
@unhipdruid Oh, that makes sense then.
-
@nerthos UUUHH IM FREAKING OUT AGAIN!, The disk has become corrupted!
-
@unhipdruid Why?
-
@unhipdruid Format.
-
@nerthos but everything disappears...
-
@unhipdruid It's hard to recover data from a RAID disk. Try with partition magic if it's a mirror disk.
-
@nerthos it was a RAID 0....
-
@unhipdruid Well, you're screwed. A Raid0 is not for storage. You shouldn't store anything important there.
-
@nerthos it was to speed up my games really. i put my steam library there. not very important in the long run, but fc3 took a while to download and that is the only difference between the raid one and the other one of a fixed disk...
-
@unhipdruid You know, Steam has a backup option.
-
@nerthos yes, good idea for the future...
