@greydragon412 Yes, it just requires some fancy software.

@greydragon412 Yes. I just rip videos from YouTube into a Xbox-readable extension and put them on a flash drive.

@greydragon412 If it's an AVI you can network your 360 with your computer and just stream it. However, from my experience, getting my 360 to communicate with my network is not a fun experience. Putting the files on a thumb drive, and plugging them into the 360's USB port is a much easier solution.

@greydragon412 I burned some MP4s to a DVD and tried to play that on my 360, it didn't take, but MP4s on a thumb drive seem to work.

@engelhardt What software did you use?
Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 16:20:55 UTC from web-
@nvrrmbr I just used the software that came packaged with Windows.

@engelhardt That might be why it didn't work.

@nvrrmbr It was just a data disc, it should be able to read easy it peasy, but whatever. I have that disc for archival purposes, not to play on my 360.

@engelhardt That could be the problem. DVDs have to be on specific CDs.

@nvrrmbr It wasn't a DVD. It was just Mp4s of Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist that I tossed onto a DVD so they wouldn't be taking up space on my HDD.

@engelhardt But still, certain CDs don't read the mp4 files.
