    4. @1greg1 Might be some funky overtones in what you're listening. An overtone is a harmonic related to the fundamental frequency. We can't hear all the overtones, since our hearing caps off at like 18k for the average adult, but a cats hearing goes up to to about 65k. If what you're listening to has some stringed instruments that might be creating overtones, that might be what kitty's hearing. And that's not the answer you were looking for, but there it is anyway.
