@purpletinker Oh my god, you stole my idea! I was totally going to make a Google Maps mashup thing for finding and organizing meetups. Though.... looks like you only got half of it. ;) (No Ohio group on there?)

@purpletinker There already is one! @darklycute and co. had a housewarming party mini-meetup, I "attended" as a bucket of turnips, and we're currently planning on a meet later this month.

@purpletinker we weren't planning to use meetup.com. Personally, I think it's a terribly disorganized site, and we can do better.

@purpletinker But I don't think they like to dabble with this. I mean randomly going 9X miles to somewhere for like day and than going back wouldn't be such a plan that my parents would be keen on.

@starshine I can respect that. (Incidentally, we are working on social features for rainbowdash.net itself!) For now, though, why don't you create SOME sort of a site about it? A meetup group, an RDN group, I don't really care-- I want something to link that map to! Can you provide that? :)

@purpletinker There's actually two groups here: !ohiobronies and !broniesohio (since the first one was abandoned)

@zach121k Bronies-NYC allows all ages at the cons themselves, just not at the afterparties/sleepovers.

@zach121k Also I am 15 and went to the last two NY meetups I'm pretty sure I was the youngest there :p

@purpletinker I could do that myself! ;) tbh, it'd probably be better if it was possible to just transfer ownership of the old group and drop the new one instead, because the issue was mostly that the old group's admin disappeared.
