  1. I don't get how speedrunning RPGs is a thing. It just... doesn't seem like it'd be as entertaining as, say, a platformer or an FPS would be.

      1. @toksyuryel Depends on the game. Something like those Pokemon Yellow runs (one of which reprograms the game)? Yes please. Heck, anything involving glitches, real-time or tool-assisted. An eight hour TAS of FF8 or an 11-hour speedrun of FF9? Yawn.

          1. @toksyuryel I know of one CT TAS that abuses glitches, so that'd fit under the category I consider entertaining. (I like seeing things broken c: Only reason I watched four and a half hours of Wind Waker.)

        2. @redenchilada I will say that RPGs as a whole tend to have trouble holding my interest. That probably affects my enjoyment of the speedruns.
