@ceruleanspark Things I honestly know about homestuck based on what I see around the internet: Board game or something like jumanji or zathura, bunch of kids play it, transported to a far off land or something... humans and these troll things live there, buckets are something sexual, the guy with the blonde hair looks a lot like you, and for some strange reason that is possibily not canon; all the male trolls have tentacles for genitalia as shown in all the porn that has ended up on my tumblr dashboard from certain people I wont disclose

@purplephish20 The only major adaptation I'd make is that it's a computer game and that canonically none of the characters genitals have been exposed (because for 90% of the story they are 13 years old)

@ceruleanspark This is a strange one, like... all character in these things are all way younger than they look, I mean... look at Ash, and Gary Oak. Tell me they look 10 years old...

@purplephish20 Anime characters are particularly weird. All the Madoka girls are in their early teens, but, (aside from when the plot requires it) have the emotional capacity and decision making ability beyond that of most adults.

@purplephish20 It's kind of the key point of rugrats though. Same with how the Simpsons kids are much more capable and intelligent than their parents.

@ceruleanspark Hell this bothered my when I was younger, how in gods name is lisa simpson so smar when shes like.... 8 at the beginning of the series...she might even have started the show at 7

@purplephish20 I think it turned out (in a surprisingly dark moment for the show) that prior to being beaten down by her idiot husband and children, Marge was actually highly intelligent and had a lot of life goals.

@ceruleanspark @purplephish20 didn't Marge tutor Homer in French or something? Oh! also, there's Homer's Crayola Oblangata condition wherein the crayon that lodged in his brain as a child made him extremely stupid and when it was removed temporarily he became a genius.
