@anarchycarcino I'm not saying there weren't glaring plot holes in the show. im saying that Kirito and asuna are pretty much made for each other.

@anarchycarcino because kirito is the "look at me im super strong and have to do everything on my own" character type and asuna is the "im strong too so you don't have to do it alone" type. It let's them get close through they're shared trials.

@anarchycarcino episode 10. Sword art online had a great thing going with the setting and the story working so well together, a constant state of desparation made it so much more than just a game and gave the characters a reason to truly interact and feel for eachother. that was great. then they just kinda threw that all away.

@anarchycarcino i have all 25. word of advice, pretend ep 14 is the last one. the show degraded into a generic borderline Ecchi mediocre seinen anime. it had it's moments but the overall quality dropped substantially.

@anarchycarcino Hahaha. Well ecchi basically means erotic-but-not-porn. Seinen is manga or anime targeted for 18-30 year old males. So they're usually the same thing.

@praxis Kanji like all ideograms is retarded. It's a way of writing that dates from a time when language wasn't developed, and the only way to write something was to draw the thing. Logically, simplifying them and letting centuries pass makes the language completely imposible to understand. It's an idiotic practice for cavemen.

@nerthos Honestly i find it rather nice. also since there are so many redundancies in the japanese language that can screw up context the kanji is simple fix rather than inventing new work. like Nihon meaning japan and nihon meaning two long slender objects

@praxis No, I hate on it because it's like BMP and alphabets are like PNG. In the end they serve the same purpose, but one takes six times the space. I don't have endless storage space on my mind, I preffer not to waste it on useless things.
