Five years have not been kind to MechQuest. The early game is more or less exactly the same as when I left it, which does not bode well for its developers. Things which were labeled "coming soon" five years ago still are today, all of the typos remain, none of the rough edges have been smoothed. Certainly they have added several more planets to the game, as well as new mechs and weapons, but none of it is polished or cohesive and they haven't bothered to polish what was already there to begin with either. Progression remains a jumbled mess and everything is still grindy as all hell. I am not sure how they expect to get $35 out of me for this; all they've done so far is prove to me they don't deserve a dime. !VGP

@toksyuryel That still exists? I remember trying it with a friend when it was released, finding a trainer and trying to cheat "for the lulz" as it's custom between 15 year olds.

@nerthos Sure does. I remembered it being fun when I first played it long ago so I thought I'd try it again and see what five years worth of development had done for the game. Not much at all, as it turned out.

@toksyuryel I was more of a Dragon Fable guy. Didn't really dig the other two.
-
@nerthos I should get back into Dragon Fable. That one was *well* worth paying $35 for.
-
@toksyuryel I'm totally not paying $35 because US$1=AR$7.50 approximately right now.
-
@nerthos Yikes. That's some pretty bad inflation there.
-
@toksyuryel The official dollar is ~$4.30, but you can't buy it because of some retarded measure by the economy ministry and the "reina de los cacos"
