@bitshift Well, now that I've admitted to being willing, actually doing it would be mighty stupid of me, wouldn't it? Everyone would blame me immediately! The perfect chance for someone else to swoop in and do it and shunt the blame to me! Therefore, I couldn't possibly be the one to do it now.

@widget I saw a lot of articles/comments going with what amounted "well, github aren't to blame, buuuuut surely they could have a check for things like this, I mean it's not hard to programmatically recognize a private key", and that annoyed me almost more than the flat-out obviously wrong "github's fault" people.

@bitshift And now you've figured that out, so if someone else did it, the fact that I knew I'd be blamed and thus won't do it but that fact gives me the perfect excuse to do it means that the person doing it could shift the blame to me and everyone would believe it! Therefore I have the perfect alib- CIRCULAR LOGIC HOOO
