@northernnarwhal @mushi Honestly I just watch groups of people interacting so naturally and find myself perplexed. I suppose at some point there was a degree of envy.

@praxis yeah, sometimes i think being more social would becool, but it requires just too much effort to that, i preffer being inside my bubble

@praxis I know how you feel. I stutter and ramble often, and usually when I try and express an otherwise intellectual statement to someone I come off as a bumbling idiot who has no social life outside his close friends.

@northernnarwhal Mhm, at around the end of highschool i realized i was i didn't want to fall into social ineptitude so i at least got used to people talking to me. Still bad at striking up conversations myself though.
-
@praxis I've taken drama courses and I feel they have helped my rhetoric and pronunciation. Also, talking online with other people (similar to what I'm doing right now) helps me build my social confidence.
-
@northernnarwhal I find that talking on online helps me get more confident online, It's just the reason i don't talk to people in person is because 90% of the time i feel we have nothing to talk about other than idle small talk.
-
@praxis That was what originally started my fondness of music. I had a lot of spare time, so I would just listen to lots of music, which eventually led to me finding one of my passions in life: drumming.

@northernnarwhal Mhm. back in highschool I picked up guitar and just played. I was bad at first and i just kept going. It was nice to finally have a thing and people praised me for my dedication and speedy improvement but in reality i just felt i had nothing better to do at first. Somewhere down the line though i decided that i wanted to be really good so i started lessons and such. That was over 5 years ago and i've been playing since.
