@pokestrike Considering that @praxis spelled it "eevee" and that effort values didn't come into play until 3rd gen, I would say he's referring to the pokemon.

@northernnarwhal Actually evs where in gen 2 but no one cared and gen 2 had iv.

@pokestrike Well, they technically existed since gen 1, but they weren't separated from IVs until gen 3.
