Okay. I've been trying all day to get a version of Mumble compiled with JACK support so that I can record the Survival Games Minecraft thing. Finally built it. Output worked. Turn on my ALSA mic to talk... and everybody's yelling at me to turn it off because I'm only spouting static. I am so doleed right now. I'm not going to be able to take part in the Survival Games.

@vexfalken I was doing fine until now. I was a little down but I was recovering. But now I'm just mad as hell. I was looking forward to this event for so long and I was looking forward to participating, but because Mumble doesn't play nice with my recording workflow, I have to sit out of this awesome event. I CAN'T PLAY. MICROPHONE REQUIRED.

@neurario why cant you just get up on windows or something? just having a copy round for if you need it?

@vexfalken I'm trying not to do that... As much as I sort of want to, I gave up Windows and promised myself I would stay on one OS for a year. And y'know, if I had Windows there it would probably just get me to move all my gaming and LPing back there, and I actually DON'T want to do that. I feel that Linux Let's Playing is something that hasn't been really explored. Some folks have been doing it, but it's still something to be worked on. So, as much as I'd like to... I'd rather not. :x
