How come most of the new users don't talk when they first join?

@widget I think it may be because being new to the site, they're not sure what to say or what sort of things we usually talk about. Image walking into a crowd of people you've never met before with the task of starting a conversation. My guess is they want to see how we interact then apply that knowledge themselves.

@nerthos @boltaction Papayas are a serious issue. I remember last week, my cousin started talking about his kiwis out of nowhere, right in front of my friends! His kiwis! Who talks about their kiwis in public?
