  1. Well that's the first time since the "I just signed up for an account so I could get rid of /r/atheism, /r/politics and /r/news" purge of 200X that I've unsubscribed from a subreddit out of anger/disgust

      1. @nerthos Since I got diagnosed with Aspergers I wanted to talk to other like minded people to see if I could get in on any tricks they use to "pass as normal" that I didn't already know, so I ended up on one of their generic Autism Spectrum disorder discussion boards, /r/autistic. But it's basically a bunch of extremely paranoid people convinced that there's basically a global conspiracy to take away their rights and then have them sterilised and or murdered. After arguing with some people for several hours that no, a study that suggests that people with gross motor and executive motor deficiencies might have difficulty driving does not mean the government wants to take your car away, I got sick of it and unsubbed from there.

          1. @nerthos I suppose it's a self fulfilling function, board full of crazies chases off anyone with an opposing opinion and as a result, is allowed to just sit around and reinforce their own belief. It's basically how /r/atheism works.

            1. @ceruleanspark By their own paranoia they push away any potential help and end up just reinforcing their fallencies. Modern society in a nutshell.
